King Fish Fishing in Melbourne

The most prized sport fish to our local waters is the YELLOW TAIL KINGFISH 
Each summer we are lucky enough for the kings of the sea to make there way locally for us to catch, turning up in huge schools with the warm blue water that flows down the coast.
These fish can bring a grown man to his knees, Pound for pound one of the toughest fighting fish we have, Each time a Kingfish hits the deck its a huge achievement for all to land such an epic fish in our local waters.
Rated as one of the best eating fish in the ocean , the YELLOW TAIL KINGFISH has beautiful white flesh and if taken care of correctly provides some of the best Sashimi our oceans have to offer.
We have been chasing these fish in our local waters for many years and know all the tricks to get them to bite on even the hardest days.
Techniques such as " Jigging , live baiting, Trolling, Top water & many more.
Jigging is a very popular style to target these fish and we have all the gear to get the job done.
Catching live bait such as Calamari & slimy mackerel at the start of the trip makes for a great pre workout before the fun begins! 
A Top Water experience casting stick baits and poppers is also available .  
Youre welcome to bring your own jigs/lures and rods to suit.

To give the best chance of catching your dream fish, these locations will be given prior to booking, depending on where the fish are biting.

What you need

Your own food, sea sick tablets if necessary, Appropriate footwear, hat and sunglasses 
An esky in your car to keep fish fresh on your way home.
Soft drink & bottled water supplied.
(Alcohols welcome onboard in moderation)
NO GLASS PERMITTED, Cans ONLY!

A valid Victorian Fishing Licence must be present while fishing on our vessel and can be purchased via the link below.
You will not need a licence to fish if you are, under 18 years of age or 70 years of age or over.
