Tuna Fishing in Locally & South West Coast

Cassar Fishing Charters specialize in catching Southern Bluefin Tuna from the south west coast of Portland, locally out the front of the heads and offshore from Westernport.
We have such a healthy and sustainable fishery that every year we get an incredible run of tuna up and down our coast.
Weather it be the sized tuna or the famous fish of a life time BARREL TUNA we have got you covered.
All of our gear is top of the range and maintained to perfection to insure that you can land the fish of a life time each and every time.
A single fish might take a couple minutes to land or 5 hours to land, either way as long as it ends up in the boat that is all that matters.
We often get a big run of bluefin close to home so keep a look out and stay in touch with our social media for updates!
Bring the soy sauce and wasabi because fresh sashimi and sushi is on the menu!
We specialize it TOP WATER fishing casting at southern bluefin tuna, A stick bait and popper rod is always rigged and ready to cast at a school of busting TUNA!
You are welcome to bring your own personal top water gear along.

Trip Departure Times

Location will vary from our local waters all through the south west coast to Portland
To give the best chance of catching your dream fish, these locations will be given prior to booking, depending on where the fish are biting.

What you need

Your own food, sea sick tablets if necessary, Appropriate footwear, hat and sunglasses 
An esky in your car to keep fish fresh on your way home.
Bottled water supplied.
(Alcohols welcome onboard in moderation)
NO GLASS PERMITTED, Cans ONLY!

A valid Victorian Fishing Licence must be present while fishing on our vessel and can be purchased via the link below.
You will not need a licence to fish if you are, under 18 years of age or 70 years of age or over.
